Tips for parents
- Levels: each year has three levels — Working towards, Expected and Greater depth — making a ladder of 21 steps from Reception to Year 6. Questions get a little harder through each sheet.
- Time and marks: a 15-minute sheet has fewer, shorter questions; a 60-minute sheet has more, including 2-mark problems with a working-out box. The total is printed at the top.
- Printing: the PDFs are A4. In the print dialog choose "Actual size" (or "Fit to page" for US Letter).
- Geography sheets include maps and flags (multiple choice, true or false, matching and short written answers). The answers PDF explains every answer so you can talk it through together. Print in colour if you can, so the shaded areas on the maps show up.
